Living Book Authors

A Childlight attendee (from  a few years ago) sent me the link to this article.  Enjoy, it is from FIRST THINGS and it is titled Children’s Books, Lost and Found.  I am passing it on because of the love of reading. I agree about E. Nesbit and the Moffats and collect Carolyn Haywood’s books.  Glad to know they are being reprinted!

I haven’t read Inkheart or anything by that author.  I would add Kate Seredy , Elizabeth Yates, Elizabeth Goudge, Marguerite Di Angeli,Gene Stratton-Porter, besides the classics of Lewis and Tolkein and even George MacDonald.

the sequestered nooks.
And all the sweet
